What is TEDx?

In the spirit of discovering and spreading ideas, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TED Talks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection.

These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized event. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events are self-organized.

RIPPLES

What if a single idea could travel farther than we imagine? What if one story, one insight, or one bold question could inspire countless others? TEDx Ahalia Public School Youth, built around the theme RIPPLES, explores exactly this possibility. Just like the ripple created by a single drop in water, ideas have the power to spread outward, touching minds, sparking conversations, and creating meaningful change.

This event brings together inspiring speakers from diverse walks of life who will share powerful stories from their journeys, discoveries, and experiences. Through their talks, they will reveal how moments of curiosity, courage, and creativity can grow into ideas that influence the way we think, learn, and act.

The conversations will travel across exciting and relevant fields such as the environment, alternate energy, artificial intelligence, innovation, and personal well-being highlighting how ideas from one area can spark inspiration in another, creating ripples that extend into society, technology, and everyday life.

Designed especially for students of Classes 10 to 12, the event seeks to open new horizons of thought and possibility. At its heart, TEDx Ahalia Public School Youth celebrates ideas that create ripples far beyond the moment they are shared.
